Elior Group’s global concession catering brand Areas has been awarded an eight-year concession contract to manage eight of its catering venues at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, France.

The contract will support the modernisation project of Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, which currently handles more than 8 million travellers a year.

Areas has revamped its catering offering with a mix of local and internationally renowned brands to accommodate the tastes and needs of travellers as they pass through the airport.

Areas France and Northern Europe CEO Alexandre de Palmas stated: “We are very proud to be lending support to the Toulouse-Blagnac airport modernisation project.

“Thanks to our local foothold and our franchise portfolio, we can offer travellers and airport employees comprehensive catering solutions that are not only unique but also reflect the way of life specific to the regions of Toulouse, Bordeaux, the Basque Country and even Spain. Thanks to its digital approach, Areas has enhanced the customer experience at all levels from travel planning through to arrival.”

In the public areas of the airport, Areas has proposed a Starbucks Coffee outlet, a Panorama restaurant with self-service catering solution and a new generation Super wild coffee kiosk.
