CKE Restaurants Holdings, operator of fast food restaurants Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s, has named Charles Jemley joins as its chief financial officer (CFO).
In the new role, Jemley will be responsible for global financial operations as well as establishing optimised infrastructure to support the company’s global growth strategy.
Prior to joining CKE, Jemley served as senior vice-president of roastery and reserve finance division for global coffeehouse chain Starbucks. He also worked in various senior positions with the company locally and globally for more than 12 years.
Jemley also worked as CFO for China division of Yum Brands as well as worked in various roles in finance and development departments.
CKE chief executive officer Jason Marker said: “I am proud to add two distinguished leaders to our team and am excited to welcome Charles and Kerry to CKE.
“Both bring valuable food industry experience that will help guide the growth and evolution of our company and brands.”

Olson will oversee global legal strategy along with the day-to-day operations of the CKE legal department.
Prior to this, she worked as assistant general counsel with Buffalo Wild Wings and International Dairy Queen as well as a partner of Faegre Baker Daniels.
Headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, CKE operates more than 3,800 franchised and company-operated restaurants in 44 states and 43 foreign countries.
