The Food Standards Agency (FSA UK) has awarded five-star ratings for London-based restaurant chain Abokado’s 23 locations across the city.

Determined by local authority food safety officers, FSA’s ratings range from zero to five.

The five-star rating determines that the restaurant chain is operating all its locations with the highest possible food hygiene standards.

Abokado operations director Kara Alderin said: “We could not be prouder of this achievement. Food hygiene is of the utmost importance to Abokado and of course, to our customers.

“To have a full house of five stars is a great accolade, in what is a technical business with a complex HACCP system.”

FSA is an independent government department that protects public health and consumers’ wider interests in food. It covers England, Wales and Northern Ireland regions.
