American fast casual restaurant chain Fuzzy’s Taco Shop has expanded its menu with three new limited-edition Birria items.
Birria is a Mexican meat stew made with bold, spicy and savoury flavours.
The new additions include the Quesabirria Tacos, the Birria Bowl and the Chips & Queso with Birria Beef.
The Quesabirria Tacos features grilled corn tortillas, which are filled with shredded beef barbacoa, cooked in a house-made birria sauce and served with shredded cheddar Jack cheese, diced onions and cilantro.
The restaurant brand noted that its Birria Bowl is suitable for guests looking for a tortilla-free option.
To replace the tortilla, the Birria Bowl comes with a base of cilantro-lime rice that is crowned with black beans, birria beef barbacoa, shredded cheddar Jack cheese, cilantro-lime crema, pickled red onions, cilantro and seasoned tortilla crisps.
