The McGregor Square unit will pair G-Que’s signature slow-smoked meats with quick-service, catering to downtown workers, residents, visitors and sports crowds.

This restaurant is to become G-Que’s fifth year-round location, joining the company’s existing sites across the Front Range and its popular stadium outposts at Coors Field, Empower Field, and Folsom Field.

G-Que BBQ president Nick Usher said: “Opening at McGregor Square is a defining step in our growth.

“This marketplace format allows us to introduce our slow-smoked, championship BBQ to the heart of Denver while meeting guests where they live, work, and play.”

The launch has been timed ahead of the busy spring and summer period around the McGregor Square, with the brand aiming to capture pre- and post-game traffic from Colorado Rockies fans, as well as regular visitors.

The McGregor Square operation will also provide collection, delivery, takeaway and catering services, increasing the brand’s coverage across the Denver metro area.

G-Que BBQ founder Jason Ganahl said: “Our partnership with the Colorado Rockies has shown us the incredible appetite for high-quality BBQ in this area.

“Now we’re excited to serve fans, downtown residents, and visitors every day — whether they’re heading to a game, grabbing lunch, or looking for an easy dinner.”
