Colorado-based Good Times Restaurants has reported steady same-store sales between fiscal years 2017 and 2018.

The group operates and franchises quick-service restaurant chain Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard, including 34 locations in Colorado and 2 in Wyoming, US.

Good Times Restaurants also owns a full-service upscale concept Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar.

Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard reported a 0.5% increase in same-store sales in the company’s fiscal Q4 period (ended 25 September) compared with 3.9% for the same period in 2017.

“During the last week of our fiscal year, we opened Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar restaurants in Roswell, Georgia, and Greenville, South Carolina.”

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar reported a 0.7% increase in adjusted same-store sales during the quarter, compared with a 1.4% increase for the same period last year.

However, Bad Daddy’s also reported a slight 0.7% decrease in same-store sales for Q4 2018 compared with Q3. This includes loss of sales due to Hurricane Florence.

Good Times Restaurants’ president and CEO Boyd Hoback said: “Although this represents a break in our positive comparable sales streak due to the impact of Hurricane Florence, on an adjusted basis, comparable sales were in-line with our guidance and represents a slight acceleration from our Q3’s comparable sales, and would have been our fourteenth consecutive quarter of positive comparable sales.

“In addition, during the last week of our fiscal year we opened Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar restaurants in Roswell, Georgia, and Greenville, South Carolina, bringing our total restaurants opened during the fiscal year ended 2018 to nine.

“We expect to open two additional Bad Daddy’s restaurants during our fiscal Q1 2019.”
