In the UK, users can type their preferences and constraints straight into Google Search. AI Mode then scans multiple reservation services and restaurant sites to identify venues with real-time availability that fit those criteria.
The system then shortlists suitable options and presents them in a curated view. From there, users are offered direct links to complete their booking through partners such as Foodhub, DesignMyNight, Dojo, Mozrest, Resdiary, Sevenrooms and TheFork.
In a blog post, Google said: “With these updates, AI will handle more of the busywork — so you can spend less time planning and more time having fun.”
The features are available in AI Mode in Search for users across the UK starting this week.
A similar capability is also now live in India, Business Standard reported.
