Hadfield Group has entered into a strategic partnership to offer its point-of-sale (POS) transaction technology to more than 1,400 restaurants within the Orange County Restaurant Association (OCRA) in California, US.

OCRA focuses on supporting and promoting the restaurant industry in Orange County.

Orange County Restaurant Association founder Pamela Waitt said: “Restaurants today have very unique challenges. I have been working with incredibly talented restaurateurs for decades with the goal of putting Orange County on the map as a food destination.

“Hadfield Group shares our vision and their products allow restaurants to align identically with this goal. We are proud to make them our first strategic partner.”

Hadfield Group offers Europay Mastercard and Visa (EMV)/chip technology and advanced payment card industry (PCI) compliance services to assist restaurants in processing their payments securely.

The company’s POS solutions connect with over 200 common applications.

It also helps restaurants to connect their online ordering, employee scheduling and payroll applications to its cloud-based system.

Hadfield Group founder Paul Hadfield said: “The point-of-sale is becoming the central hub for restaurants, providing real-time insights to help understand positive and unfavourable trends within their entire operation.

“When adding transactional data, our clients capture customer demographic details and key competitor insights to assist in market analysation.

“We’ve also seen our clients save significant time by integrating key services to our POS system while growing sales through new ways of ordering, like tableside and via kiosk, for faster and seamless user experience on both ends.

“We are beyond excited about the opportunity to work with the Orange County Restaurant Association and all the thousands of incredible restaurants in the community. We are eager to support new clients with financial and transactional tools that will help them continue to flourish.”
