Canadian quick-service restaurant chain Jimmy The Greek has announced the opening of its first dine-in restaurant in Ontario.
Located in Toronto’s Premium Outlets in Halton Hills, the new restaurant venue offers indoor seating alongside its traditional take-out model, and signals a return to the brand’s original restaurant roots.
Its new location features an innovative design with cobblestoned tiling, a long main table for communal family-style dining, and an archway that evokes traditional Greek architecture.
The owners of the new dine-in restaurant are part of the existing Jimmy The Greek store network.
The menu at the new location includes classic offerings such as Chicken Souvlaki and Gyros Pita with Salad.
The origins of Jimmy The Greek trace back to the 1970s when Dimitrios “Jimmy” and Helen Antonopoulos, after moving to Canada from Greece, opened fine-dining establishments such as Epikourion and Penelope’s.

Operations director Nicole Mitrothanasis, the granddaughter of founder Jimmy, said: “We’ve built a restaurant with a one-of-a-kind design that pays tribute to my grandparents’ hometown and restaurant roots.
“While we’ll still be providing the same fast, fresh, and delicious meals, we’re thrilled to have created such a special place where we can welcome customers in through our very own doors and continue to serve them our family’s favourite recipes.”
