US-based fast food restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has announced plans to re-launch its KFC Wraps.

The wrap selection includes the brand’s Spicy Slaw Chicken Wrap and its Classic Chicken Wrap.

Both wraps were originally launched earlier this year in February across all KFC restaurants in the US.

Starting on 12 November, customers can buy two KFC Wraps for $5 through the KFC mobile app or directly from the website (KFC.com).

The Spicy Slaw Chicken Wrap covers an Extra Crispy tender with a mix of KFC coleslaw, spicy sauce and crunchy pickles.

The Classic Chicken Wrap is a hand-breaded Extra Crispy tender, served with pickles and mayo and wrapped inside a tortilla.

The brand has also added the new KFC Mac & Cheese Wrap to its existing lineup.

The company said it will also be offering a Wraps combo for $8.49.

As part of this combo, customers can choose two wraps of their choice from the available lineup, including classic, spicy or mac & cheese, along with a medium drink and a single serving of Secret Recipe Fries.

Topped with KFC’s cheddar mac & cheese, the new wrap features Extra Crispy fried chicken tender served with a sprinkle of three-cheese blend.

KFC US chief marketing officer Nick Chavez said: “Since we introduced KFC Wraps earlier this year, others have followed with their versions – but why go to a burger chain for a fried chicken wrap when you can get a craveable wrap with KFC’s world-famous fried chicken?

“Our KFC Wrap lineup offers more variety with three finger-lickin’ good flavours at the same incredible value of 2 for $5. Mark your calendars for 12 November.”

In addition, KFC is rolling out its new family-sized Colonel’s Homestyle Brownie on 12 November.

This chocolate chip brownie can be added to the $20 Fill Up Box or bucket meals for $5 ($6.99 à la carte).
