US-based fast food restaurant chain Killer Burger is set to launch its newest location in Salem, Oregon, with an official opening planned on 3 May 2023.

This marks the brand’s 21st restaurant and follows the opening of its location in Eugene, Oregon.

The latest franchise at 2540 Kuebler Blvd SE will have a seating capacity of 98.

The restaurant will be located at a Costco-anchored centre in south Salem and will occupy a space of 2,500ft².

This restaurant is owned by franchisee Dave Edwards who is a partner in more than 20 Papa Johns outlets.

The franchise agreement is part of a larger agreement under which three more restaurants in Oregon and three more units in Idaho will be opened in the coming four years.

Killer Burger CEO John Dikos said: “The Salem opening is an essential part of our plans for strategic growth and development in 2023 and we are so proud of the momentum we’ve been able to achieve so far.

“We couldn’t ask for a better franchise partner than Dave Edwards and his team and we look forward to serving up Killer Burger’s one-of-a-kind burgers to the Salem community.”

Edwards said: “It’s an honour to be able to work with John and the team at Killer Burger to bring its delicious offerings to Salem for the first time. I believe Killer Burger is the perfect addition to the Salem dining scene and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome our guests into the restaurant.

“I am confident in Killer Burger’s value proposition and am eager to continue this momentum with our five additional restaurants we’ll bring to Oregon and Idaho over the next few years.”

Killer Burger has plans to expand with upcoming restaurants in Medford and West Linn, Oregon.
