American mobile ordering and payments platform LevelUp has expanded its portfolio with the addition of 25 restaurant brands as partners.

The partners include lifestyle brand Smoothie King, chicken chain Zaxby’s, Wings Over, honeygrow, Pret A Manger, Clean Juice, Showmars and Evergreens.

Of the 25 partners, eight restaurants including Pret A Manger, Clean Juice, Showmars, The Human Bean and Flour have launched guest engagement programmes such as new mobile apps developed and powered by LevelUp.

LevelUp founder and CEO Seth Priebatsch said: “As the growth engine for restaurants, it’s our job to help restaurants reach new customers and convert them into loyal guests.

“LevelUp acts as a medium between restaurants and guests through technology.”

“Our Broadcast product enables integrated digital ordering and rewards distribution through leading consumer channels bringing new customers in the door and our new data-enriching capabilities help restaurants understand and better engage those new customers.”

The digital engagement solutions company currently offers digital ordering, payment and loyalty services to more than 50,000 locations to increase guest engagement.

LevelUp acts as a medium between restaurants and guests through technology by embedding its open developer platform into partner restaurant apps and through its partner distribution channels.

Smoothie King CMO Jennifer Herskind said: “Smoothie King is all about delivering the best experience we can to our guests and helping them live a healthy and active lifestyle. With LevelUp, we are making it easier for our guests to engage with and frequent our brand.”

Currently, LevelUp’s open developer platform powers more than 200 mobile apps.
