US-based Liberated Specialty Foods has unveiled a new distribution initiative to bring its Beyond Keto product line to food service establishments across the country.

The company will initially focus on delivering its naked pizza crust, zero-net carb cheddar crackers, nut-flour-based doughnuts and waffle products.

Liberated Specialty Foods’ founder and president Stacey Schlaman said: “Ketogenic and paleolithic diets have finally become mainstream in America and we felt like it was time to help food service establishments and restaurants have more inclusive menus.”

“We felt like it was time to help food service establishments and restaurants have more inclusive menus.”

To ensure these offerings are suitable for the ketogenic and paleolithic diets, Liberated Specialty Foods has ensured each type of product can be made in separate, segregated toaster ovens to avoid cross-contamination with other ingredients in the kitchen.

Liberated also offers a range of food choices with a focus on customers with special dietary needs, including auto-immune conditions such as Crohn’s and colitis and other food allergies.

It claims that its food complies with the specific carbohydrate diet (SCD) and is already paleolithic, gluten-free and grain-free certified.
