In August 2024, Marco’s Pizza broadened its reach into New Mexico by signing a nine-unit area development agreement. The move marked the company’s expansion into its 35th state in the US.
The initial two locations, planned for Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, are expected to open by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
Seasoned franchisees Chris and Kristian Ornelas, the principal owners of the unit development, have invested in Marco’s Pizza as a means to diversify their franchise portfolio.
