McDonald’s Australia has expanded its menu with the launch of its new chicken burger, the McCrispy.
The restaurant brand said its new burger variant comprises 100% Aussie RSPCA-approved chicken breast with a crispy coating, lettuce and a new McCrispy signature sauce, all served on a soft-glazed bun.
Claimed to be the company’s crispiest chicken burger yet, McCrispy is now available across all McDonald’s restaurants in Australia as part of the brand’s permanent menu.
The McCrispy will join other offerings from the brand, including the Big Mac, the Quarter Pounder, the Cheeseburger and the Fillet-O-Fish.
McDonald’s Australia marketing manager Lancy Huynh said: “The launch of the McCrispy is an iconic moment for Macca’s – it’s our most exciting chicken launch in years and we think it will be an absolute game-changer.
“Our customers already love our stellar chicken lineup, including the McChicken, McSpicy and Chicken McNuggets and we’re excited to be upping the stakes with our crispiest chicken burger ever.”

For this launch, McDonald’s has also partnered with award-winning rapper, singer and songwriter the Kid LAROI.

This is the second time that McDonald’s has partnered with the Kid Laroi. The restaurant company and the Kid Laroi had previously partnered following the drop of Australia’s first local Famous Order in 2022.
