San Francisco-based restaurant management company MINA Group has named Eric Martino as its new president, effective immediately.

Martino will manage the restaurant’s operations and its future expansion strategies, spearheading the group’s diverse portfolio of over 30 international concepts.

He will work alongside chef Michael Mina and CEO Jason Himber for this job.

Martino’s career in the hospitality sector spans more than 25 years, latterly as the chief operating officer of José Andrés Group.

At José Andrés, he headed over 30 restaurants’ operations in nine global markets.

He led a workforce of over 2,000 team members and revenues of more than $275m at the firm, where he had a stint of six years.

Martino supported the launch of Mercado Little Spain at Hudson Yards in New York, during this period.

He also facilitated partnership agreements with Conrad Hotel in Los Angeles and The Ritz Carlton Nomad in New York City.
