Flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken restaurant brand Nando’s is set to expand its presence in India with the launch of five new outlets in Mumbai.

The South African brand, with a presence in Delhi and a recently opened location in Hyderabad, is now bringing its flavours to India’s financial capital, as reported by IndianRetailer.com.

The expansion comprises a location at Terminal 2 of Mumbai Airport and several shopping malls across the city.

Nando’s India chief executive officer Sameer Bhasin was quoted by Businessoffood.in: “It’s a moment of great pride for us to launch Nando’s into Mumbai, a city that thrives on bold flavours and which has been asking for it for some time now.”

“PERi-PERi – made with African bird eye chilli – is the heart and soul of Nando’s unique flavour, and the perfect match for spice-lovers in Mumbai. This is only the start of an exciting journey in this vibrant city, with many more locations to come!”

Nando’s uses natural ingredients in its bastings, marinades and sauces, which are made without artificial flavours or colourants.
