Nathan’s Famous and UAE’s Mezzan partner for halal hot dogs

American fast food restaurant company Nathan’s Famous has reached a partnership agreement with UAE’s Mezzan Holding to make halal hot dogs.

American fast food restaurant company Nathan’s Famous has reached a partnership agreement with UAE’s Mezzan Holding to make halal hot dogs.

Mezzan is a manufacturer and distributor of food, beverage, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and pharmaceutical products in the Gulf region. It operates in seven countries through 30 subsidiaries.

Nathan’s Famous’ plans to strengthen its commitment to the Middle East with the production and distribution of Halal Nathan’s Famous products.

As part of the partnership, Mezzan subsidiary Khazan Meat Factory will manufacture a five-piece pack and eight-piece pack of hot dogs for retail and foodservice vendors in the region.

Nathan’s Famous also expects to leverage Mezzan’s distribution abilities, private and cooperative supermarket clients and food services customer base to support its growth.
