Chinese hospitality concept Noodle & Beer will open its second restaurant in London in early 2025.

The 950ft² restaurant at  27 Wardour Street, Chinatown, will feature a modern bistro atmosphere on the ground floor and an intimate dining setting on the lower ground floor.

The menu will focus on noodle-based dishes, including popular options such as Xian Jian Niu Rou Main – stir-fried beef slices with three types of chilli – and Tian-shui Mian, which is handmade udon noodles in a sweet and spicy sauce.

A selection of beers will be available on a monthly rotation and will include local independent products and well-known Asian brands.

Noodle & Beer founder Xiaoxiao Wang said: “Born from a desire to bring the simple pleasures that come from pairing noodles with beer to a new audience, the expansion of Noodle & Beer to Chinatown London is fundamental in achieving this.

“For the Chinese and ESEA community, Chinatown London is more than just a place for authentic food – it’s a cultural anchor always buzzing with life. Joining a destination that holds such a special place in our hearts feels incredibly full circle for me, and we look forward to bringing a distinct selection of food and drink that people from far and wide can come together and enjoy.”

Shaftesbury Capital is the landlord for the Wardour Street location.

Noodle & Beer aims to attract office workers and tourists during the day, transforming into a lively and atmospheric space in the evening.

This expansion follows the recent opening of the Korean grab-and-go concept BUNSIK at 31 Wardour Street in October 2024.

The 900 ft² site is Maguro Group’s second in Chinatown London, located next to its Korean BBQ concept, Pochawa Grill.
