Online food ordering solution Olo has partnered with US-based independent online and mobile food ordering services EatStreet to offer better food delivery experience for restaurants and consumers.
As part of the terms of the partnership, EatStreet has integrated into Olo’s application programming interface platform called Rails. EatStreet connects consumers to more than 15,000 restaurants.
Olo’s Rails platform is designed to allow restaurants to receive, process and execute delivery orders through delivery service providers.
It also enables restaurant operators to reach more customers by allowing them to list menu items on third-party marketplaces.
Olo founder and CEO Noah Glass said: “EatStreet was a clear choice to partner with given their extensive reach and mastery of delivery logistics.
“Their vast network covers more than 250 cities across the US in underserved markets, providing our restaurant clients with much broader coverage for delivery in many key markets. Coverage is a big part of the discussion for brands and this partnership with EatStreet helps to address that in a centralised way for our restaurant clients.”
Olo Rails will allow integration of orders placed on EatStreet into the restaurant’s point of sale and other existing systems.
Olo now serves more than 200 restaurant brands across 40,000 locations in the country.
