US-based quick-service concept Pollo Tropical has expanded its menu with the launch of three tropically-inspired crispy chicken sandwiches.

The flavours include crispy chicken BLT sandwich, classic crispy chicken sandwich and crispy chipotle chicken sandwich, which will join the restaurant’s handheld menu items portfolio.

Crispy chicken BLT sandwich is a blend of citrus marinated chicken breast, Swiss cheese, double smoked premium bacon, fresh-sliced tomato and romaine lettuce, topped with Chipotle mayo sauce.

Classic crispy chicken sandwich is made using citrus marinated chicken breast, fresh-sliced tomato, romaine lettuce and peppadew sauce.

Crispy chipotle chicken sandwich contains citrus marinated chicken breast, fresh-sliced tomato, and romaine lettuce and is topped with Chipotle mayo sauce.

Pollo Tropical president Danny Meisenheimer said: “Over the past year, we have introduced new menu items and quality enhancements as part of our strategic brand renewal plan.
