US-based technology solutions provider for foodservice firms Powerhouse Dynamics has enhanced its equipment and energy management solution with a new release, Open Kitchen by SiteSage.
In April this year, Middleby acquired Powerhouse Dynamics to create a single comprehensive solution.

Open Kitchen is an internet of things (IoT-based) platform that integrates the features of SiteSage Smart Kitchen and Middleby Connect in a single platform.
The platform is designed to offer remote access to critical data and performance monitoring by connecting commercial kitchen equipment to the cloud.
New features include a recipe creation hub and remote recipe distribution function; expanded predictive analytics to the equipment component level; enhanced data security; and addition of language support for international implementations.
The company has also expanded the integration layer to facilitate multiple methods of connectivity, as well as support rapid integration with additional brands.
