Fast casual Mexican restaurant chain QDOBA has reintroduced its Citrus Lime Shrimp, a sustainably sourced seafood option, for a limited time.

The dish, known for its lime sauce, caters to customers seeking seafood alternatives or reducing their red meat consumption.

The restaurant company said that this menu item is freshly sautéed in-house and is now available across participating locations in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

The Citrus Lime Shrimp can be ordered in-restaurant, online, or through the QDOBA app for collection or delivery.

Alongside this offering, QDOBA has also brought back two chef-crafted entrées: the Surf & Turf Burrito or Bowl, combining the shrimp with grilled steak, and the Citrus Lime Shrimp Burrito or Bowl, which features chile crema, cotija cheese, and pico de gallo.

QDOBA currently has around 750 venues across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

In October 2023, QDOBA relaunched Loaded Tortilla Soup for a limited period in the US.

Guests have the option to order the Loaded Tortilla Soup in a crispy tortilla shell or a regular cup or bowl.

The restaurant company noted that guests can pick from vegetarian and non-vegetarian alternatives.

The vegetarian option featured vegetable broth flavoured with roasted tomatoes, peppers, onions and spices while the non-vegetarian option was offered with brisket birria, grilled adobo chicken or grilled steak.
