Fast-casual smoothie brand Smoothie King is set to increase its presence in the US state of Colorado by almost 60% with new locations and future openings.
The first of two new franchise-owned stores opened in early autumn 2024 in Longmont, and the second on 14 October in Glendale. Both are strategically situated within the Denver Designated Market Area, indicating the area’s importance to the brand.
Upcoming locations in Englewood, Highlands Ranch, Lafayette, Lakewood, Parker and Wheat Ridge will continue to expand the brand’s reach over the next three years.
Smoothie King chief development officer Chris Bremer said: “We are thrilled to expand our footprint not only in the Denver area — a key market for Smoothie King — but more broadly throughout Colorado, a state where we still have plenty of growth opportunity for new and existing franchisees.
“We’re proud to show up in so many of Colorado’s communities that, like Smoothie King, are passionate about living healthy and active lifestyles.”
Smoothie King already operates 14 stores in the state.
