Global foodservice and facilities management company Sodexo has received a three-year contract from UK-based Great Western Academy (GWA) to offer catering and cleaning services.
As part of the contract, Sodexo will launch a new modern school food and dining environment offer called Food & Co.
The company developed its Food & Co concept through research conducted with pupils in key stages 2, 3 and 4 to understand their food preferences and behaviours while dining.
The company will offer a range of cosmopolitan foods on its catering menu during breakfast, morning break and lunch.
Sodexo and GWA will implement their Agents for Change programme, guiding students to work closely with the catering team to drive service development.
GWA is a new secondary school, which is scheduled to open in September in North Swindon, England.
