Starbucks is set to launch Spicy Lemonade Refreshers beverages and a new Spicy Cream Cold Foam in Canada from 16 April 2024.

The seasonal offerings will be available for a limited time during the spring while supplies last.

The Spicy Lemonade Refreshers will come in three tropical flavours: Spicy Dragonfruit, Spicy Pineapple and Spicy Strawberry.

The Spicy Strawberry variant is a combination of the sweet flavours of strawberry and acai with lemonade, real strawberry pieces and a spicy chilli powder blend.

Spicy Dragonfruit combines the sweet flavours of mango and dragonfruit with lemonade, real dragonfruit pieces and the chilli blend.

New spicy Cream Cold Foam is offered as a customisable option. Made with cold foam and the powder blend, it can be added to any cold beverage.

The company recommends experimenting by adding it to an iced chai tea latte for a blend of spices, or pairing it with a Cold Brew coffee.

Starbucks said in a statement: “Inspired by the ‘swicy’ trend, which combines sweet and spicy flavours in all sorts of creative ways, the new Spicy Lemonade Refreshers bring together the sweetness of a Starbucks Refreshers Beverage, the tartness of lemonade and the heat of Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend to create a deliciously refreshing sip with absolutely no chill.” 

In February 2024, Starbucks introduced its spring beverage line-up across the Asia Pacific region.

The new line-up featured French Vanilla Mille-Feuille Oatmilk Latte, Peach Passion Blossom Pure Matcha Latte and Peach Passion Blossom Cream Frappuccino Blended Beverage.
