Quick-service pizza franchise Stoner’s Pizza Joint has revealed plans to expand in the US state of Texas with a five-unit deal.

The first two stores are scheduled to open in the first half of 2024 in the Sachse and Rowlett markets.

The remaining three locations are planned for the Wylie, McKinney and Frisco areas.

The brand’s growth strategy includes the opening of 100 units by the end of 2025, targeting new multi-unit operators across the US.

Scott Mobley, president and a multi-unit franchisee of Stoner’s, said: “We are thrilled to expand to the great state of Texas with a new multi-unit deal in the Dallas market.

“We are aggressively looking to open additional markets in 2024 and Dallas will be a great fit for the Stoner’s brand.”

Since its inception in 2013, Stoner’s Pizza Joint has been on a steady path of growth.

The company introduced its franchising scheme in late 2018, along with a rebranding campaign and a new business plan to withstand big changes in the market.

Stoner’s Pizza Joint is looking for suitable franchisees to support the brand’s expansion across the country in college town markets in the Southeast.

Last month, Stoner’s Pizza opened a new location in Laurens, South Carolina and now has seven locations across the state.

The Laurens venue provides dine-in, takeout, and delivery options to its guests. It will offer speciality pizzas, calzones, strombolis, sandwiches, hickory-smoked chicken wings and freshly prepared salads and desserts.

Food is prepared in-house daily using proprietary recipes such as pizza dough, sauce and cheese blend.
