Subway Canada is set to launch a new peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie with Reese’s Pieces to mark the country’s National Cookie Day on 4 December 2023.

The cookie will be available at all Subway restaurants across Canada for a limited time.

To add to the National Cookie Day celebrations, Subway Canada is also unveiling its first-ever foot-long cookie – but only for one day.

It will be available exclusively on a first-come, first-served basis at 127 Bremner Boulevard in Toronto from 1pm on 4 December.

The complete launch of the foot-long cookie, inspired by the all-new Subway Series menu, across all Subway Canada stores will take place in 2024 for a limited time.

With a limit of one cookie per guest, people can try the new chocolate chip foot-long cookie in three different flavours: the Green Goddess, the Little Italy and the Great Canadian.

The Little Italy cookie, inspired by Subway Series #14, comes with ricotta and mini chocolate chip spread topped with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, lemon juice and icing sugar.

Inspired by Subway Series #11, the Green Goddess cookie pairs the chocolate chip cookie with a pistachio spread topped with green apple and shaved coconut then drizzled with caramel.

The Great Canadian cookie, inspired by Subway Series #1, is piled with caramel-maple spread and sweet blueberry jam and topped with butter tarts, pecans and bacon.

Subway Canada chef John Botelho stated: “A cookie has always been the perfect pairing to a Subway Footlong.

“Subway is Canada’s cookie destination, and this year, we are giving Canadians even more cookie to enjoy, combining inspiration from fan-favourite Subway Series sandwiches with the delectable taste of our iconic chocolate chunk cookie, now made with chocolate chips.”

Subway Canada is also running a deal until 31 December 2023. Anyone purchasing a $30 Subway Canada gift card either in-store or online will receive six free cookies.

In September 2023, Subway Canada launched its new and refreshed loyalty programme, MVP Rewards.
