Subway has entered the Azerbaijani market via a master franchise agreement with N Sky Build, as part of the sandwich chain’s broader strategy to fortify its footprint across the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Under the agreement, N Sky Build receives exclusive rights to develop, operate and manage all Subway outlets in Azerbaijan.

N Sky Build chairman Nuri Garagoz said: “This partnership with Subway opens an exciting chapter for our business.
“The agreement is a marker of our belief in Subway’s appeal in Azerbaijan and we’re proud to be bringing the Subway experience to guests across the country.”
Subway said the deal adds to more than ten master franchise agreements concluded in EMEA since 2021. Together, this represents more than 4,000 planned restaurants across the region.
N Sky Build’s team is said to have more than 20 years of experience managing international brands across hospitality, retail and food and beverage.

The focus will be on improving operational efficiency and enhancing the guest experience at new locations.
Subway noted that it is continuing to pursue international expansion by partnering with established operators to grow its footprint and maintain a consistent experience across markets.
The company stated that the master franchise agreement in Azerbaijan is expected to facilitate a faster pace of development nationwide.

In December 2025, Subway entered a master franchise agreement with Alamtiazat Al Alamyah Food Stuff, handing the company exclusive rights to manage and expand the brand’s network in Qatar.
