Surcheros founder and CEO Luke Christian said: “We are thrilled to open our first location in Cartersville. Continuing to grow in Georgia has been amazing.
“We’ve been received so warmly on our home turf and are honoured to continue to offer our flavours and Southern hospitality to the community.”
The opening in Cartersville follows the launch of another Surcheros restaurant in Athens, Georgia, in March 2024 – the brand’s second in the city and 27th in the state.
The Athens restaurant at The Markets at Epps Bridge Shopping Center spans 3,195ft².
Founded in 2007 by Luke, Surcheros Fresh Mex began franchising in 2017 under the leadership of Luke and his wife, Nicole.
The brand initially expanded across South Georgia and into Florida and continues to grow.
