Thailand-based specialty coffee chain ve/la, owned by lifestyle group Apostofi, is set to open its first international outlet in London the UK, in the first quarter of 2025, World Coffee Portal has reported.
Since its inception, ve/la has grown to operate eight outlets across Bangkok, offering a unique coffee experience that includes a cold brew range available on tap at two small-format kiosks designed for quick service.
The brand sources its coffee from Doi Pangkhon in Thailand’s Chiang Rai province and offers espresso-based drinks, cold brews and health-focused smoothies.
Apostofi, founded in 2020, manages a diverse portfolio including ve/la, the Gardens and Norm restaurants, the premium stationery brand Mediums and the creative studio Archytipe.
The group’s expansion plans for ve/la also include launching in Seoul, South Korea. The company already ships its packaged coffee products to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.
During its annual keynote event, held on 10 September 2024, Apostofi unveiled several new ventures, including ve/la’s first mobile app and the all-day cafe-restaurant concept ve/la Studio, set to open in Sukhumvit before the end of 2024.

In September 2024, Starbucks Thailand opened a third community store in the Mae Rim district of Chiang Mai at Kad Farang Village.
