Pan-Asian restaurant chain Wagamama is set to expand its presence in the UK by opening a new restaurant in Doncaster, the Doncaster Free Press has reported.
The restaurant chain has chosen Dome Leisure Point, Herten Way, as the location, with the opening scheduled for 22 April 2024.
The move is in response to the growing demand for the company’s menu and dining experience.
Designed to accommodate 162 guests inside, the restaurant will operate seven days a week and create 55 new jobs.
The opening will bring the total number of wagamama restaurants in the UK to 163.
In addition to its classic offerings, the Doncaster location will feature new menu items such as the hotpot — a spicy broth with seasonal vegetables — and tteokbokki, QSR Media has reported. Tteobokki is a Korean street food favourite, made with a vegan twist and a crunchy noodle crumb
