Full-service family sports bar Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar has signed a five-year deal named ‘Tiger Partnership’ with Louisiana State University (LSU).

The restaurant will serve as the official sports restaurant and bar of LSU Athletics.

As part of the deal, the sports bar chain will offer a range of menu choices to fans including smoked Gouda Turkey burger, boom boom shrimp poboy, cajundillas, crawfish etou-ways, mardi gras mahi, and duck and andouille gumbo.

The company will also offer various promotions including ‘Dance for your Dinner’ in-game activations that allow customers to win $500 gift cards.

Walk-On founder Brandon Landry said: “This is truly a special opportunity to give back to the school that has given me so much both as a college athlete and young business owner. Our Walk-On’s team could not be more excited to become an official partner of LSU Athletics and come together as a community to cheer on our Tigers.

“Being in the shadows of Tiger Stadium has kept us connected to the University all this time and we are so thankful for their support. This is where it all began and it feels great to build on that hometown pride.”

Additionally, the company will reward one fan with an opportunity to walk down Victory Hill during pre-game with the LSU Band and LSU Spirit Squad as part of ‘Walk-On Down to Death Valley’ online sweepstakes offer. The winner will also receive game tickets and sideline passes.

Established in 2003, Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar currently operates 25 locations in the US.

The company is headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is currently developing more than 100 additional locations across 15 states.

Earlier this month, the full-service family sports bar revealed plans to open 20 new locations across Georgia, US, over the next five years.

As part of the growth plans, the company will focus on expansion in the greater Atlanta metro area and enter into strategic franchise partnerships.
