British firm Wilson Vale has received a catering contract from Midlands-based automotive and property investment specialist IM Group to offer services at its new corporate headquarters in Solihull, England.
The company secured the contract following a tender process involving 14 competitors. The contract is valued at £400K in annual turnover.
As part of the contract, the catering firm is currently offering breakfast, lunch, coffee bar and extensive hospitality services at the Solihull complex. A team of six people from Wilson Vale started serving 250 employees of IM Group at the site.
The Solihull complex is home to various divisions of the IM Group including IM Properties, Spitfire Bespoke Homes, International Motors, Isuzu UK and Subaru UK.
Wilson Vale co-founder Andrew Wilson said: “We went through a very serious accreditation process and one thing is clear – a shared culture and a belief that catering is a crucial part of a company’s welfare strategy, enhancing the working environment, staff retention and motivation.
“IM Group’s on-site staff restaurant, ‘The Bridge’ is a very special facility. The overall design and finish show the thought and care that have gone into ensuring that their staff and visitors have a welcoming, relaxed and homely hub to eat and meet in during the working day.
