British Wilson Vale Catering Management has received a five-year catering contract from the University of Leicester to serve its College Court Conference Centre.
As part of the deal, worth £750,000 in annual turnover, the independent contract caterer will serve food to conference guests and visitors, and offer catering services for weddings and events.
Prior to this, Wilson Vale also served a five-year catering contract with College Court from 2013.
College Court centre director Steve Crawford said: “There is no doubt that Wilson Vale’s unique approach, their ability to forge close relationships and their passion for first class food and service are standards that fit very comfortably with our culture.
“We absolutely love having them on site. With their help and support we have built our reputation and a loyal client base that truly enjoy the fantastic food they deliver day-in, day out.”
Established in 2002, Wilson Vale provides different menu options including fine dining, school lunches, Ready-made food, packet mixes and bought-in cakes.
Food offered by the caterer is made from locally sourced ingredients such as baked ciabatta, home-made granola and slow-roasted meat joints.
Wilson Vale co-founder Andrew Wilson said: “Gaining an additional five-year contract with College Court means the world to us and it shows that strong relationships continue to drive our business.
“We look forward to working closely with Steve Crawford and his team to build the food and service standards further at this first-class conference centre.”
Last year, the company reported a 20% increase in the turnover after receiving a catering services contract with healthcare and research firm Bionical.
In addition, the company secured a total of eight contracts and many deal extensions.
