US-based restaurant chain Wingstop has opened its 1,500th restaurant, in Las Vegas, the US.
It follows the brand’s 43 net new openings for the third quarter of this year and its adjusted guidance, which increased from 120 to 130 net new openings to 135 to 140 net new openings for the year.
Wingstop chairman and CEO Charlie Morrison said: “The strength of our development pipeline is key for long-term success as we grow the brand to achieve our stated goal of 6,000 plus global restaurants and continue building a top ten global restaurant brand.”
This new restaurant is located at 8675 W Rome Blvd, and is franchised by Far West Restaurant Group.
Far West Restaurant Group has been a partner of Wingstop brand since 2005. The franchisee runs 61 of the brand’s restaurants in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Seattle.
Morrison added: “We’re excited about the acceleration we’re seeing in development and are honoured that the 1,500th location is that of our long-term brand partners at Far West Restaurant Group.”
