Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement to expand further into the US state of Colorado.

The initial outlet in Boulder is slated to open in August 2025, with further sites planned for Lakewood and Castle Rock.

This move is a key part of the company's national growth strategy, targeting high-potential markets across the US.

Beth Deasy, an entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in franchising, is at the helm of the signed agreement.

Deasy said: "I've always believed in the power of franchising when it's done right, and I wanted to find a brand that truly supports its franchisees while aligning with my values. Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii stood out because of its commitment to franchisee success and its exceptional product. I've always loved Hawaiian coffee, and this franchise gives me the perfect opportunity to bring a taste of Hawaii to Colorado while creating a welcoming community space."

As Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii continues its expansion, the company remains committed to partnering with franchisees who are dedicated to sustainable growth and providing better customer experiences.

The brand offers a comprehensive development support system that includes teams, technology, and tools for identifying optimal territories for expansion.

It also provides expertise in financing, real estate, and construction management to support franchisees and multi-unit operators.

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii CEO Scott Snyder said: "We're thrilled to welcome such an experienced franchisee to the Bad Ass Coffee 'ohana as we expand further into Colorado. Her deep expertise in franchising and real estate development, combined with her passion for our brand and product, makes her the perfect fit to bring Bad Ass Coffee to the Boulder area."

The coffee retailer recently announced an expansion in Honolulu, with a three-unit agreement that aims to extend the reach of the brand's Hawaiian heritage to a broader audience.
