Black Rock Coffee Bar has broadened its presence in Texas with the opening of a new store in the city of Cypress.
The latest addition to the boutique coffee chain is located at 10760 Barker Cypress Road at FWY 290, contributing to the brand's expansion within the Houston metro area.
The new 2,000ft² location is the 33rd store in the US state and embodies the chain's signature industrial modern design.
Black Rock Coffee Bar offered free 16-ounce drinks on the launch day at the Cypress store, and a series of promotions throughout the opening week.
Black Rock Coffee Bar CEO Mark Davis said: “We are excited to bring our passion for exceptional coffee to Cypress. Texas holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re committed to fostering a sense of community in every cup we serve.

Since its inception in 2008 in Portland, Oregon Black Rock Coffee Bar has been on an upward trajectory, reaching 136 stores across the US.
The brand has also been growing its presence in the West and Sunbelt regions, with restaurants in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
In February 2024, the coffee chain opened its second Eugene, Oregon location, its 34th store in the state.
The 2,000ft² Eugene outlet further solidifies Black Rock Coffee Bar's commitment to Oregon, where it was founded. In August 2023, the chain expanded into Kyle, Texas, within the Austin metro area, taking its total number of Texas stores to 27.
