US fast-casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick is expanding its presence in North Carolina with a new outlet in Jacksonville, set to open on 5 June 2024.

The new restaurant at 1006 Hampton Inn Way will be the 16th location for the chain in the state and will feature a drive-through and an outdoor patio.

The Jacksonville outlet will open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:30am to 8pm.

IT is owned and operated by Chris Carnes and Ben Fields, with operating partner Jonah Greenup.

Greenup said: “Our team is excited to keep expanding with Chicken Salad Chick, bringing this brand's signature focus on enriching lives and serving others to more communities in my home state of North Carolina.

“There's so much to love about Jacksonville's coastal culture and military connections. We waited a long time for the right site and were thrilled when this Fazoli's building became available. Now we can't wait to open our doors and become Jacksonville's new go-to spot for lunch, dinner and convenient catering.”

The outlet is the latest addition by the team, which had previously introduced the brand to Fayetteville in 2022 and opened to Greenville, North Carolina, in April 2024.

The Greenville venue at 112 Redbanks Road, is the 14th Chicken Salad Chick in the state.

In May 2024, the company opened a new restaurant in Woodstock, Georgia. This restaurant is the 24th in the region and the 41st in the state.

Chicken Salad Chick opened a restaurant on 8 May at Maumelle, Arkansas. Founded in Auburn, Alabama, by Stacy and Kevin Brown in 2008, the chain has 250 restaurants in 19 US states.
