US-based restaurant brand Chicken Salad Chick is expanding its restaurant footprint in the country with a new location set to open on 2 June in Palm Coast, Florida.

The outlet will be run by franchisees Darin and Lyndsey Melvin, who now hold seven Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in Florida, as well as units in Tallahassee.

Palm Coast is their second new-build opening, following the launch of a Lake City restaurant in April.

Darin Melvin said: “We're thrilled to open our second Chicken Salad Chick location and continue growing with the brand.

“Opening our first restaurant has been such a rewarding experience, and we're proud to bring that same commitment of quality food and exceptional service to the Palm Coast community.

“We're excited to become part of the community and look forward to contributing to Palm Coast's local dining scene."

The Palm Coast restaurant will offer dine-in, takeaway, third-party delivery and catering.

Its menu items include “made-from-scratch” chicken salad in multiple flavours, side dishes, soups, sandwiches and desserts.

The restaurant company will also open a new location in Boerne, Texas, on 3 June.

Chicken Salad Chick currently operates more than 335 restaurants across 22 states in the US.

Earlier this month, Chicken Salad Chick signed a 25-unit franchise development deal to expand in multiple upstate New York markets.
