Five Guys has expanded its global presence with the opening of its largest branch in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at Terminal 3 - Concourse B of Dubai International (DXB) airport, operated by Dubai Airports.

The new outlet is the company’s first airport location outside the US.

The DXB branch will operate 24/7 and introduces a breakfast selection exclusive to the airport, alongside the traditional Five Guys menu.

Spanning 6,200ft², the store offers grilled cheese sandwiches, signature buns, hot dogs, halal beef burgers and skin-on fries prepared without the use of microwaves, freezers or timers.

Customers at Five Guys DXB can order more than 250,000 possible topping combinations for their burgers, according to the company, and its milkshakes, complete with complimentary toppings, add a further layer of customisation.

Dubai Airports chief commercial officer Eugene Barry said: “With the doors now open at Five Guys in DXB Terminal 3, we're thrilled to offer our guests a taste of something truly special. This partnership embodies our commitment to continue adding variety and excitement to DXB's culinary landscape, while delivering exceptional, quality experiences for our guests.”

Founded in 1986 in Arlington, Virginia, Five Guys is a family-owned franchise known for its burgers and fries.

The brand began franchising in 2003 and has since grown to 1,800 locations worldwide.

Shamal F&B, the franchise owner for Five Guys in the UAE, has successfully expanded the brand to 15 stores across the country.

Shamal Holding CEO Abdulla Binhabtoor said: “The new branch will operate 24/7 and offer a location-exclusive breakfast and a licensed menu, signifying not just a milestone, but an exciting new chapter in the journey of Five Guys UAE.”
