The Happy Belly Food Group, a consolidator of food brands, has signed a new franchise agreement for the expansion of its Heal Wellness brand to the Canadian city of Richmond Hill, Ontario.
Heal Wellness provides quick-service, fresh wellness foods. This is the 42nd franchise agreement for the brand.
In little more than one year, Heal Wellness has achieved significant growth with 42 franchise agreements or committed multi-unit agreements executed.
Many of the agreements are in development - under construction, at the design stage or location scouting.
The brand is receiving franchisee applications from across North America.
Heal Wellness features a variety of smoothie bowls and smoothies.
Catering to a health-conscious demographic, its fresh smoothie bowls, acai bowls, and smoothies are made with real fruit and enhanced with superfoods such as acai, pitaya, goji berries and chia seeds.

In March 2024 Happy Belly opened a new Heal Wellness franchise location in Toronto, Ontario.
Located on Queen Street East in the Beaches neighbourhood, this was Happy Belly’s first franchised location to open under the quick-service restaurant brand Heal Wellness.
