American fast food chain KFC has added Honey BBQ Saucy Nuggets to its summer menu 2024, along with “wallet-friendly” everyday meal deals.  

The new offering, which has been added to the menu based on consumer feedback, is available from 10 June across all participating restaurants in the US. 

The Honey BBQ sauce is sweet, smoky and tangy, featuring brown sugar and honey to complement the tanginess of tomato and spices.  

This is the first time the Honey BBQ flavour will be added to KFC Nuggets.

Honey BBQ Saucy Nuggets join KFC's existing Korean BBQ and Honey Sriracha Saucy Nuggets offerings.  

The Korean BBQ sauce offers a sweet and savoury umami taste, while the Honey Sriracha sauce delivers a sweet heat experience. 

For $5.99, customers can order a 10-piece serving at participating KFC locations, though prices may vary and be higher in certain states and on third-party ordering websites.  

In addition to the new nuggets, KFC is extending its $10 Tuesdays deal, where customers can purchase an eight-piece bucket of drums and thighs for $10. This offer is exclusive to eight-piece dark meat buckets bought on Tuesdays.  

KFC is also promoting free delivery on Sundays throughout the summer for orders made through KFC.com and the KFC app. 

KFC has also announced the "Taste of KFC" value menu, which provides daily deals from under $5.  

The menu features a $4.99 Meal for One which comprises two pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and a biscuit, as well as a $20 Family Meal with six pieces of chicken, four sides and four biscuits. The side options include coleslaw, mac and cheese, and sweet corn. 

KFC US chief marketing officer Nick Chavez said: “In response to requests from our customers, we're rolling out our popular Honey BBQ sauce on our nuggets. KFC guests have loved our Saucy Nuggets and we're excited to continue to introduce new flavours into the mix.”
