American doughnut company and coffeehouse chain Krispy Kreme has introduced its Fall Fair Collection, a limited-time offering.

The collection, available now at participating shops, features an assortment of four doughnuts: Cotton Candy, Kreme Puff, Blue Ribbon Apple Pie, and Caramel Churro.

The Cotton Candy doughnut is a twist on the brand's Original Glazed doughnut, dipped in blue icing and covered with cotton candy-flavoured sugar. It is finished with a strawberry-flavoured icing swirl and a dollop of cotton candy-flavoured buttercream.

The Kreme Puff doughnut offers an unglazed ring doughnut swirled with Kreme, a dusting of sweet powdered coating, and a Doughnut Dot on top.

The Blue Ribbon Apple Pie doughnut is an unglazed shell filled with apple cinnamon, dipped in caramel-flavoured icing, and drizzled with cinnamon cookie crumbs and white icing.

Completing the collection, the Caramel Churro doughnut is coated in caramel, covered with cinnamon sugar, and sprinkled with caramel-flavoured icing.

The Fall Fair Collection is not only available in-shop but can also be ordered for pickup or delivery through the Krispy Kreme app and website, with options to purchase individually or by the dozen.

Krispy Kreme has a presence in more than 40 countries. In April, the brand introduced the Hoppy Easter doughnut range.

In July, the company and McDonald’s USA ended their collaboration over profitability concerns.

The doughnut brand highlighted that, despite the alliance, its presence was a “small, non-material” part of the fast-food chain’s breakfast offerings.
