Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken, a casual dining franchise, is set to expand its menu offerings with the launch of Nashville Hot Macaroni and Cheese Bowl.

Beginning 31 July 2023, Nashville Hot Macaroni and Cheese Bowl will be available at all participating locations for a limited period.

The new additions extend Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken Nashville Hot flavour line, which was launched with Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich.

Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken CEO Ryan Weaver said: "The Lee's Nashville Hot chicken sandwich quickly became a fan-favourite as guests told us, 'give us more'; so that's just what we did."

The Nashville Hot Macaroni and Cheese Bowl will feature hand-breaded chicken breast strips tossed in chilli pepper and savoury spices before being topped with creamy macaroni and cheese.

Customers can order the new macaroni and cheese bowl in-store or by drive-through at all participating locations.

The company stated that guests can also place their orders through the Lee's app or order online.

Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken marketing vice-president Dan Sokolik said: "Flavour trends point to more heat, flavour and variety within core menu favourites.

"Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken embraces this flavour exploration, and we are excited to bring the trending Nashville hot flavour to our local communities. Guests will see more menu innovation from our kitchens in the months ahead."

The restaurant currently has more than 130 locations located across 12 US states and Canada.
