Restaurant chain Moxies is embarking on an expansion across the US, targeting emerging food and drink markets.

The chain has announced its upcoming arrival in the Gold Coast neighbourhood of Chicago and is set to open a flagship location in Washington, DC's Golden Triangle near Dupont Circle in November.

As part of this expansion, Moxies has secured deals for two new restaurants in Austin, Texas, with openings set for mid-2026 and early 2027. This expansion will bring the total number of Moxies outlets in the state to six.

Additionally, Nashville is set to welcome Tennessee's first Moxies in 2026.

In Florida, early 2026 will see a new opening in West Palm Beach, followed by Coral Gables and Orlando in 2027. This will increase the state's count to five locations, with deals already established.

Moxies' president and chief operating officer Joanne Forrester said: “We’re thrilled to expand our footprint in the US and in high-energy markets known for livability, travel, and dining culture.

“Each new opening is an opportunity to share our signature hospitality and globally inspired dishes and cocktails with vibrant communities that we know will embrace them—communities that are also home to countless fans who have enjoyed Moxies in other markets.”

Moxies is utilising its development strategy, backed by real estate support, to help partners benefit from its achievements.

Forrester added: “Just as we did in Texas, Arizona, and along the Eastern Seaboard in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Boston, we have secured standout locations and need dynamic franchisee partners to join the team.”

In March 2024, Moxies completed the renovation of its Uptown Dallas location in Texas.
