US-based juice bar Nékter Juice Bar has announced plans to expand its store network by opening locations in California and Ohio.

In California, Nékter is opening its location in Chula Vista in San Diego County, and Kenwood Towne Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Chula Vista store will cover an area of 1,274ft² while the Cincinnati location will cover an area of 925ft².

Franchise owners Brad and Sarah Downs will operate the Kenwood Place Nékter store and the Chula Vista Nékter Juice Bar family will lead the California store.

The Chula Vista Nékter Juice Bar Family said: “The reason we chose Nékter Juice Bar is because I have always been very passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle. I believe drinking juices and smoothies is a very essential and key habit that should be incorporated into the daily routine if you want to be healthy.

“The greater San Diego community appreciates health and fitness, making it a great match for the Nékter brand.”

Both the California and Ohio locations will be opened on 21 October 2023.

Kenwood Place Nékter co-owner Brad Downs said: “We chose the Kenwood market largely due to its vibrant retail presence as well as many complementary health and wellness concepts such as Bodied Boot Camp, Club Pilates, Pure Barre, Orangetheory Fitness, Crunch Fitness, CYCLEBAR, TRIBE Fitness, Body Alive Fitness, etc.
