Perfect Company has completed a system-wide deployment of its customised kitchen display technology across more than 2,500 Wingstop restaurants in the US.

The move follows a reconfiguration of Perfect Company’s KitchenPro Suite to better suit the fast food chain’s operations.

Branded Wingstop Smart Kitchen, the solution has been built specifically around Wingstop’s service model. It aims to streamline back-of-house processes, increase service speed and support a more consistent experience for guests.

Perfect Company founder and CEO Michael Wallace said: “We customised a solution with an intuitive graphical language that drives Wingstop's operations – proving that thoughtful technology can drive meaningful impact for restaurant teams and guests.”

At the core of the system is a visual interface that uses tailored graphics for each kitchen station and order type.

These on-screen prompts walk team members through each stage of cooking, assembling and packaging menu items.

The displays are gamified and are linked to Wingstop’s AI-driven demand forecasting tools.

The overall rollout was completed within one year.

Wingstop chief operating officer Raj Kapoor said: “Wingstop operates in a category of one, and we required a technology solution that could support the brand's pace of growth and long-term strategic ambitions. It needed to be purpose-built for Wingstop.

“Wingstop Smart Kitchen represents a step change for our system—both in the underlying technology and in our ability to deploy it efficiently and at scale across the business.”

Founded in 1994 and based in Dallas, Texas, Wingstop operates and franchises more than 3,000 restaurants worldwide.

Its menu focuses on boneless wings, tenders and chicken sandwiches, alongside sides and housemade dips.
