US-based sandwich brand Quiznos has announced the soft opening of its latest location in Cape Girardeau, in the US state of Missouri.

 Quiznos operates locations across the US, Canada and nine other countries.

Located at 2505 Veterans Memorial Drive, off Exit 99 on I-55, the restaurant is its third location in the state, joining stores in Kansas City and Branson.

It is the first of a five-store development deal signed by longtime Quiznos’s franchisee, Nathan Long.

Long opened his first location in Metropolis, Illinois in 2003, and has been a key partner of the brand ever since.

The agreement will drive the brand's expansion plans through to 2028.

Long is the president of Acee’s Neighborhood Market & Deli, which operates in eight markets across Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky and employs 140 people.

The new Cape Girardeau Quiznos location is located within a gas and convenience site to offer convenient access to locals and travellers.

REGO Restaurant Group, which is also the parent company of the Taco del Mar brand, appointed Patel as CEO in March 2025 as successor to Tim Casey, who left in December 2024 following a six-year tenure.

 Taco del Mar is a fast-casual restaurant chain specialising in coastal Mexican cuisine.
