Fast-food chain Taco Bell is set to launch its latest menu addition, Crispy Chicken Nuggets, on 19 December 2024 for a limited period.

The nuggets, made with all-white meat chicken, are marinated in jalapeño buttermilk, coated with a mix of breadcrumbs and tortilla chips, and complemented by a range of new dipping sauces, including the first-ever ranch collaboration with Hidden Valley, called Fire Ranch Sauce, Bell Sauce and Jalapeño Honey Mustard Sauce.

Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce fuses Taco Bell’s Fire Sauce with the brand's creamy taste.

Bell Sauce offers a subtle chili kick, while Jalapeño Honey Mustard combines sweetness with a jalapeño twist.

Five-piece nuggets with one dipping sauce is priced at $3.99, and the ten-piece with two sauces at $6.99.

Taco Bell chief marketing officer Taylor Montgomery said: “Crispy Chicken Nuggets deliver a crispier, more flavourful nugget experience [...] combined with the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce".

The first 20,000 Taco Bell Rewards Members to purchase the new item after 2pm on 21 January 2025 will receive an exclusive offer of five-piece crispy chicken nuggets for $1.

Combos featuring fries and a drink will range from $5.99 to $8.99. A deluxe meal comprising nuggets, a taco, a chalupa [a small thick taco], fries and a drink will be priced at $10.49.

From 19 to 31 December, customers can enjoy a free drink with the purchase of five-piece nuggets a la carte on delivery through DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates or Grubhub.

The promotion continues until 22 January 2025, allowing customers to add a $1 regular portion of Nacho Fries to any à la carte nugget order, once per day, exclusively through the app.

The latest development comes after Taco Bell announced the revival of its Decades Menu, featuring items from the past five decades for a limited period.
